Elderly woman beaten to death in Faridabad

A 75-year-old woman was killed in Faridabad in a petty issue of fixing some electric wire, police said today.
On the basis of a complaint by her son, a case of murder has been registered with Police Station Surajkund in Faridabad.
Electricity at the house of one Devendra Singh alias Babli who is resident of village Mewla Maharajpur in Faridabad went off yesterday, they said.
He noticed that the other houses in the locality had electricity and thought that there must be some fault in the wiring. In order to check that if any wire is broken, he walked down to the transformer, police added.
There he found his neighbour Hukum Singh already standing there. A scuffle broke out between the two leading to Hukum Singh slapping Devendra.
After a while, Hukum Singh and his two sons Satish and Sunil reached Devendra's house. They started abusing and hitting Devendra. Finding her son being beaten brutally Devendra's mother Anchaheti tried to pacify the attacking trio, they said.

She was too brutally beaten by the accused. She was then rushed to B.K. Hospital where she was declared brought dead, police said.
While the three accused fled away.
Inspector Narender Singh, SHO Surajkund Police Station said that a case has been registered and the police are investigating the case.
