Eleven PLFI militants arrested in Jharkhand

Eleven militants of the banned People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested after a brief gun battle with police near Pakartand in Gumla district.
"Acting on a tip off, police raided the area and arrested the zonal commander Rajan and ten of his associates of PLFI after a brief gun battle last night," Superintendent of Police Bhimsen Tuti told reporters here.
A total of 11 rifles, 56 bullets, 16 mobile handsets, letter heads and some other materials were seized from them, he said.
