Eleven quintal ganja seized in Bihar

Eleven quintals of ganja were seized from a truck on the NH-84 under Industrial police station area in Bihar's Buxar district today.
During a routine checking of vehicles, police intercepted a truck and seized eleven quintals of ganja contained in six sacks and hidden under a heap of coal, Superintendent of Police Baburam said.
The truck driver was arrested, while five other occupants managed to escape, he said.
The contraband consignment has been valued at Rs 70 lakh in international market and was being brought from Uttar Pradesh for delivery to a client in Patna, he said.
