Led by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron, the jury also includes French writer-director Emmanuel Carrere, Turkey's Palme d'Or winner Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Pawel Pawlikowski, who directed Academy Award-winning film "Ida", according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"The Assassin" director Hou Hsiao-hsien and Italian director Francesco Munzi will also be present on the jury of the festival that takes place from September 2 to 12.
Banks, 41, made her directorial debut this year with "Pitch Perfect 2".
The "Hunger Games" star is currently filming the TV series "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp" for Netflix.
