The "Burn" hitmaker - who recently split from boyfriend Dougie Poynter after two years of dating - plans to take a break at the end of her "Delirium" tour, reported Femalefirst.
"I feel like the last seven years has been a blur of really incredible, exciting things, but also not really knowing who I am. I think it's a positive message that I really just want a bit of time for myself to see what the world is like alone," Goulding said.
"Sometimes I don't think people know how long I've been doing this for - it's been seven years of non-stop touring and it's really taken it out of me.
"I know people think I'm invincible, but when you've toured for this long and you're tired and you're going through a break-up, it can be really challenging.
