The 'Rocket Man' singer, 65, snapped up the Los Angeles property for 4.8 million pounds amid plans of adopting their second child, reported Sun online.
The music legend and Furnish, 49, want a sibling for their 20-month-old son Zachary, who was born via surrogate.
A source said that they may move in as early as Christmas before welcoming their new addition.
The couple have reportedly sent in builders to work on a nursery and music studio.
"Elton wanted to get a place bought and in shape before having a second child," said a source.
