Music legend Elton John is being eyed by director Matthew Vaughn to star in the sequel of "Kingsman: The Secret Service".
It has not been confirmed what role the 69-year-old "Rocket Man" singer will play but there is a strong possibility that he might be playing himself, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Although prominent in doing voice-overs and soundtracks for movies and televisions, John has very few experience in acting in front of the camera.
His involvement in the "Kingsman" franchise has been long thought for by Vaughn. The director had wanted him to appear in the first movie.
"I was umming and ahhing 'cause it had a whole fun subplot about celebrities being kidnapped. And I had an idea of, who's the worst celebrity you'd want to have locked in a cell? And I came up with Elton John, and having Elton John throwing these huge tantrums.
"And then I wanted to do an action scene of Elton John kicking the living daylights out of people," Vaughn had said.

Egerton will be supported in the sequel by Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Julianne Moore and returning cast Mark Strong. "The Golden Circle" continues to follow Eggsy (Egerton) who teams up with Kingsman's American counterpart, The Statesman, after the British spy organization was destroyed.
Principal photography is set to begin in London.
