With almost 20 per cent of its revenue out of India coming from the national capital and another large chunk from Mumbai, Emirates Holidays is now looking at "double digit growth from the Indian market in 2012-13", a top official said here.
"We are now focussing on Tier-II cities like Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Ludhiana and offering to all Indian holiday and leisure travellers very attractive packages on several additional international destinations," Emirates Holidays' Business Development Manager Nadeem Ulde said.
Responding to questions, he said European destinations were those most in demand from outbound Indian tourists and "now we are offering several new destinations like Argentina, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Vancouver (Canada), Jordan, Lebanon, besides those in Europe and the US".
The packages include to a host of attractive destinations like Egypt, Spain, Seychelles, Mauritius, Italy and Germany, apart from others.
Unveiling a very large number of holiday and tourist packages, Ulde said Emirates Holidays' packages were being offered for sale from over 200 travel agents across the country at competitive prices. The packages include airfare, hotel accommodation and, in most cases, local tours.
Emirates Airlines operates 185 flights each week to its Dubai hub and beyond from ten Indian cities.
