Emmy-winning producer Julie Payne dies at 64

Emmy-winning producer Julie Payne, has died aged 64 after battling with cancer.
Payne managed the London operations of director Ridley Scott's production company 'Scott Free' for more than 15 years and died last month in London, reported Deadline.
Payne had assisted the 78-year-old veteran filmmaker in his 1992's drama action "1492: The Conquest of Paradise" and epic historical "Gladiator" in 2000.
"Julie will be greatly missed by the entire Scott family as well as the whole of Scott Free and RSA Films, and everyone who came to experience her professional integrity and dedication over the years," said a statement issued by Scott Free.
Payne began her film career with Scott in the late 1980s and they collaborated on movies like "Thelma and Louise," "GI Jane" and the best picture Oscar-winner "Gladiator".
She also produced TV series "Into The Storm" (2009) which was a continuation of "The Gathering Storm" (2002).
Payne is survived by her daughter Sarah and brother Mike.
