Employees hold demonstration against Haryana government

Several employees of various state government departments, under the banner of Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh (HKM), held a demonstration before the residence of state power minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav here today.
Raising slogans against the state government, union leaders flayed the state government alleged that while genuine demands of the employees were being persistently ignored, the state government was opting for privatisation, contractual system of recruiting workers, outsourcing and rationalisation.
The demonstration was led by Raj Singh Dahiya, state president, Amar Singh Yadav, state general secretary, Kanwar Singh Yadav, state joint general secretary of the HKM and other senior leaders of various employees' unions.
Launching a scathing attack on the style of functioning of the state government, they criticized it for dilly-dallying the regularisation of adhoc and other asymmetrical employees in various departments and virtually pushing, work pertaining to removal of anomalies in the implementation of recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission, under the carpet.
Later in the absence of the power minister, they submitted their memorandum to Chiranjiv Rao, the minister's son and former Haryana Youth Congress chief.
