Employees of Patkapara Tea garden not able to join work

Employees of a tea garden in Alipurduar district today could not join work as none from the management side was present in the garden.
When the employees of the Patkapara Tea garden went this morning to report for work they found none from the management side whom to report, INTTUC, INTUC and CITU leaders of the tea garden said.
The trade unions alleged that the management has fled from the tea garden and wants to put out a suspension of work notice in the garden.
The Patkapara Tea employs around 1450 workers.
