The agitators, who were protesting outside the hospital premises, accused the management of throwing them off the job without following labour laws.
The hospital management scrapped all the claims by the protesting employees.
According to the management, they have outsourced the manpower to some contractor as the number of employees, for housekeeping in particular, are increasing with the expansion plans and it is not possible for the hospital to take care of all the formalities by itself.
In fact, the management has already initiated legal process against these workers for the problem they are creating, a hospital official said.
Police sources informed that the protests were peaceful hence, their presence was only preventive.
