Employers giving to jobs to unemployed youth to get allowance

Employers in Haryana who provide jobs to unemployed youth will now get an allowance from the government, state Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said today.
He also said that the state government is planning an honorarium of Rs 6000 the class XII pass youth, which will be provided for three years.
"The government will provide one month unemployment allowance of Rs 3000 to those entrepreneurs who provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth in Haryana," Khattar said.
He was inaugurating a session on 'Youth empowerment, enhancing job opportunities in Haryana' on the second day of the 5-day Haryana International Trade Expo (HITEX) here, an official release said.
The State government wants to empower the youth by improving their skills so that they can get employment opportunities not only in country but also in other parts of the world," he said.
Khattar said that the Skill Development Mission has been initiated in the state and work for setting up of a Skill Development University has also been started in district Palwal.

Referring to the state's "Saksham Yuva Yojna", the Chief Minister said that post graduate and graduate youth are being provided an honorarium of Rs 9000 in lieu of 100 work hours.
"Government is also planning for an honorarium of Rs 6000 for 10+2 pass youth, which will be for three years," he said.
He said the unemployed youth should register themselves at Saksham Portal and begin a new life by getting a job or through self employment.
This Portal will also provided access to entrepreneurs, who will be able to select their workforce from the portal as per their needs and could offer them jobs, he said.
Khattar said that the number of soldiers hailing from Haryana in the armed forces is large, so his government has urged the Defence Ministry to open special recruitment centres in the state.
The event was jointly organised by the PHD chamber of commerce and industry and Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).
