Engineer commits suicide at hotel room in Noida

A 29-year-old man, who was working as an engineer at a mobile phone company in Bengaluru, committed suicide by hanging himself at a hotel room here, police said.
The incident took place last night, said sector-20 police station incharge Anil Shahi.
The deceased, identified as Tejvir, had come to Noida with his senior- Amit Kumar and both were staying at a sector 2 hotel in separate rooms.
Tejvir, who was married just a month ago, called his lover and informed that he was going to commit suicide.
According to police, the woman then got thehotel number through internet and informed the hotel staff.

Kumar was informed by the hotel staff who knocked on the door of Tejvir's room but there was no response.

The door was opened with the help of duplicate keys and Tejvir's body was found hanging from the ceiling fan.
Police have sent the body for postmortem and started investigation in the case.
Reportedly, before marriage, Tejvir had a love affair with a woman who ditched him and he had to marry another woman under family pressure.
