Engineering student stabbed for resisting robbery

A 22-year-old engineering student was stabbed allegedly by some unidentified persons after he resisted their loot attempt in Vijay Nagar area of Ghaziabad, police said today.
Condition of the boy, Gaurav Tyagi, is said to be serious.
Last night, when Tyagi was about to hire an auto near Vijay Nagar, five armed men stopped him and asked him to hand over money he had.
Tyagi was stabbed when he resisted their loot attempt.
