Liam Livingstone, young English batsman, has created history by notching up a world record 350 runs off just 138 balls in a club level one-day match.
The 21-year-old all-rounder, who is on Lancashire's books, was playing for Nantwitch Town against Caldy in an ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) National Club Championship match at Whitehouse Lane yesterday.
Livingstone smashed 34 fours and a staggering 27 sixes -- 298 runs coming in boundaries alone -- during his world record feat.
The ECB said this was the highest recorded knock in any form of one-day match, beating the previous record of 334 not out by then 15-year-old Nikhilesh Surendran in an Indian club match in Hyderabad in 2008.
Livingstone reached the 200-mark in just 37 balls before reaching 300 off 123 deliveries with the help of 31 fours and 22 sixes.
His stunning innings was the highlight of Nantwich's mammoth 579 for seven in just 45 overs against their fellow north-west side Caldy.
In reply, Caldy collapsed to 79 all out as Nantwich won by 500 runs.
India's Rohit Sharma (264) owns the highest score in One-Day-International (ODI) cricket.
