Jammu Deputy Commissioner Ajeet Kumar Sahu, during a review meeting yesterday, asked dealers to ensure 100 per cent home delivery of LPG in urban areas in Jammu district.
The meeting discussed issues regarding the compliance of various directions of Jammu and Kashmir High Court and also checking the misuse of subsidised LPG at commercial establishments.
Sahu took a detailed review of the status of home deliveries of LPG from the representatives of oil companies and impressed upon them to ensure 100 per cent home delivery of LPG in urban areas including major town.
He also asked the oil companies to ensure that Preferred Time Delivery System (PTDS) be properly advertised.

The Deputy Commissioner further said strict action shall be taken against the defaulting dealers involved in spot LPG delivery.
He strictly maintained that action against the erring dealers will include cancellation of distributorship.
In order to streamline the online gas booking, the Bharat Petroleum Company has installed Interactive voice response system (IVRS) number 94192-56789 and HP Company has installed IVRS number 90860-23456 and the consumers were asked to register their phone numbers with their concerned LPG distributors.
He impressed upon the concerned agencies to publicise the grievance redressal numbers of oil companies as well as Legal Metrology Department.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Controller, Legal Metrology, Jammu, Manoj Prabhakar, Deputy Director, Information, Jyoti Slathia, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kulbir Honda and representatives from various Oil companies, other senior officers of the CAPD and other departments.
