The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is executive producer for the TV documentary, which aims to spread awareness of how many people in America suffer from these types of illnesses, reported E!Online.
"Twenty-five percent of adults in America will suffer from a mental illness in their lifetime, and many of them turn to social media to vent their depression, loneliness, and isolation," she said.
Kardashian, 34, who is married to rapper Kanye West, with whom she has two-year-old daughter North West, added, "I am blessed to be surrounded by family and friends that are loving and nurturing, but not everyone has that kind of support.
