Inaugurating 'Emerge', the first annual entrepreneurship conclave conducted by IIM-Shillong, Sangma stressed on the need for a balanced economy instead of concentration of wealth in the hands of a few.
She urged the participants, mostly young entrepreneurs, to strive to change the present skewed economic and social development in India to a more micro level development.
Sangma, representing Tura Lok Sabha constituency in Meghalaya, said the northeastern region was in need of
