Etihad, Jet Airways partner to offer fliers discounted fares

Jet Airways and its strategic investment partner Etihad have offered discounts ranging from 20 per cent to 68 per cent to fliers, on regular fares over the combined network of the two airlines
This five-day special offer would be available for sale from August 15 to August 19 for travel between September 15 and September 30 June, Jet Airways said in a release today.
Attractive fares to all domestic and international destinations of the two carriers have been rolled on the eve of India's 67th Independence Day, it said.
"The special Independence Day fares, jointly offered with Etihad Airways will enable our guests to celebrate this national holiday by visiting and spending time with their loved ones," Jet Airways Senior Vice President (Commercial) Gaurang Shetty said in the release.
Etihad, which invested Rs 2,058 crore in the Naresh Goyal- promoted Jet Airways for a 24 per cent stake purchase last year, had announced discounted fares ranging from 20 per cent to 50 per cent las month as well, across the combined 136 destinations of the two airlines.
"As promised, we are working together to benefit the Indian traveller. Our special limited time offer will give more people opportunities to see the world without breaking the bank," Etihad Airways General Manager for India Neerja Bhatia said.
