The race will be a part of the National Racing Championship this year and scheduled to be a part of 3rd and 4th rounds of National Racing Champonship, N Raja, Director and Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the organisors, said in a release today.
The inaugural trophy held in Greater Noida last year saw Diljith as its first champion whereas Akhil Rabindra and Varun Anekar finished in the second and third places respectively, he said.
The Etios racing platform will help talented young racers develop their skills, and further train them to gain a competitive edge for their future in motorsports and will be mentored by experts in the field, and will be given an opportunity to compete amongst the best in the country.
