The online project aims to prepare aspirational, middle-class Chinese students for higher education and the workplace.
The 'Modern Leadership Programme', which will cost around 700 pounds per pupil, consists of individual tuition from Eton-trained tutors based in Britain plus group activities helped by teachers in the Chinese schools, The Telegraph reported.
The lessons will teach secondary pupils a "modern leadership programme" taught in English and focusing on communication skills and how to work collaboratively.
Percy Harrison, Eton's director of information technology, said the project will enable the school to "carry (its) DNA" and ethos to China without incurring the risks or costs associated with setting up an overseas campus.

From this autumn, secondary school pupils will use an interactive online learning platform with multimedia content developed by Eton. The school has formed a partnership with technology firm Eighteen70 to create a company called EtonX to deliver the courses.
Teachers from Eton have visited the schools in China to talk to their counterparts. Income from the venture will be used for bursaries to cover pupils' fees.
"Through EtonX we will be able to share our best teaching practices and our tested course programme with Chinese teachers and give Chinese students the opportunity to practise their collaboration and communication skills," he was quoted as saying.
Former pupils at the school include Prince William and Prime Minister David Cameron.
