EV Water setting up plant in Coimbatore
Press Trust of India Coimbatore Kerala-based EV Water Products is setting up a packaged drinking water facility at Chadivayal on the city outskirts, expected to be operational in four months, a top company official said today.
The unit would market the water under the brand Bailley from Parle Agro, which has appointed the company as licensed franchisee to supply drinking water in 10 districts in and around Coimbatore, EV Water Products Managing Director E V Shiril told reporters here.
The facility being set up at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore would have a capacity of 10,000 litres per hour and consists of multiple barrier water treatment, he said adding it would sold in pet bottles of 300 ml, 500 ml, one litre and two litre.
Stating that distribution network will have 10 dealers and 80 sub-dealers across western Tamil Nadu comprising10 districts, Shiril said that initially the company will start supplying water from April 1 onwards, which will be brought from the plants in Hosur, Hyderabad and Mysore.
