Eva Mendes takes inspiration from single mothers for new film
Press Trust of India London Actress Eva Mendes is taking real life inspiration from single mothers so that she could get a feel for what it is like to be a woman with a kid for her new film "The Place Among The Pines".
The 39-year-old actress plays a single mother in the movie opposite real-life boyfriend Ryan Gosling and wanted to make sure her maternal role in the film was spot on, reported Daily Star.
"I have so many women in my life, my family, my friends, my sisters, my mother. And before I started working, I had a women's day at home. I brought all these women and they were all mothers and we all sat around and talked and ate and had fun.
"I gave them a subject matter and posed the questions... I got so much insight from my friends and family and women (who) were in similar situations, which was so helpful for me," she said.
