Tech giant IBM today said it has built a private cloud environment to support virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) at India-based KPO Evalueserve.Com.
The private cloud deployed on IBM Systems will increase productivity of Evalueserve's 2,000 employees, IBM said in a statement. No financial details were disclosed.
"Operating at maximum capacity, our server and storage resources were finding it hard to keep up with our growing business needs. IBM helped us create a scalable and flexible cloud infrastructure which can easily support our growth for the next 10 years," Evalueserve CIO Sachin Jain said.
The new platform helped Evalueserve to optimise existing infrastructure resources in a virtualised environment, which provided its employees quicker access to client research data.
