The 25-year-old started practising relaxation techniques since she was 12, reported Contactmusic.
"I began meditating when I was 12. In my industry it's easy to get caught up in the anxiety of it all, so I take time to sit and breathe by the ocean - there's something so calming about that, it puts everything into perspective.
"I started doing yoga too, I totally get why everyone's in love with it now. It's pretty great," Wood said.
Wood feels dancing is another great way to relax and unwind yourself.
Wood is expecting her first child with husband Jamie Bell. The couple got married in October, 2012.
