The condition of the woman, who was rushed to the district hospital and later referred to a hospital in Agra, is said to be serious.
The lawyer, Umesh Chaudhary, and the other two accused, Gyani and Hakim, came on a motorcycle and started abusing the woman while she was returning from a temple last night and then threw acid on her, injuring her seriously.
The three youths, who are neighbours of the woman, were teasing her for the past several days and had also assaulted her husband when he confronted them some days ago, police said.
Senior Superintendent of Police Nitin Tewari, who took over the charge today after transfer of the incumbent, said, "Anybody found committing crimes against women would be booked under NSA and Gangster Act."
The lawyer was today produced before District Judge PK Goel, who granted interim bail to him, Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Yadav said, adding that earlier his bail plea was rejected by ACJM court.
