"We come to know horrific accounts of attacks on women every day in newspaper reports and channel telecast. Not to speak about the misbehaviour and lack of courtsey towards the women by even youngsters," Sarbari told PTI extending her support to the 'Fightback' campaign by popular actor Mumtaj Sorcar.
The ace fashion designer, having revolutionised men's wear in recent times, said crime against women may come to a trickle only by instilling sense of respect towards women among boys from a very young age.
Mumtaj's actor sibling Moubani said, "As a woman I feel comfortable with the thought of a physical combat workshop and counselling for girls as we all have to go through some situations since we step out."
The actors' magician elder sister Maneka and mother Jayasreee were allso part of the campaign as well as a host of women achievers icluding littereteur Suchitra Bhattacharya and singer-actress Jojo.
