"As the governor of the state, I am satisfied with the working of the government from Constitution point of view but how far people are satisfied, everyone knows," he said.
He was replying to a question at a press conference organised on the occasion of his completing one year in Raj Bhawan.
On the occasion, Naik also released a book 'Raj Bhawan mein Ram Naik 2014-2015' giving an account of all works undertaken by him as governor which also mentions all the issues on which there were possibilities of confrontation between Raj Bhawan and the government.
"Objections were raised over some names in the list of nine that came before me after which I sought an explanation from the government and approved four names...More information has been sought on five others," Naik said.

"Generally the tradition has been that Raj Bhawan approves the names sent by the government but for me constitutional arrangements and dignity are above tradition," Naik said.
On his returning the ordinance for giving the status of cabinet minister to the chairman of state minorities commission Shakeel Ahmad, he said it was against the Constitution and apex court orders.
On charges that he had undermined dignity of his post by answering a question on Ram temple issue during his Faizabad visit, Naik said an NGO knocked the doors of the judiciary, but to no avail.
To a question regarding law and order, power and water problems, he said that he keeps suggesting the government on the complaints received by him on these issues.
