Ex-APP Balkrishna Rajak was standing near a petrol pump in Forbesganj police station area when he was identified by the police. They arrested him in connection with the murder of one Jugnu Tiwari in the district on November 26, 2000, police sources said.
Rajak, who was booked along with six others in the murder case, had been absconding since then, they said.
