Patel had moved into the room B 92 in 2007, after becoming a member of the state Legislative Council (MLC). However, he continued to stay in the room, despite his term ended as legislator in 2012.
Furniture, mattresses and other articles belonging to Patel were today taken out by the authorities from the hostel located in south Mumbai.
Talking about the development, Patel alleged that he was not given any notice by the PWD officials for eviction.
