The court also imposed fine of Rs 7,500 on Chaudhary for wasting "public time".
A division bench of Justices K S Zaveri and A G Uraigee said, "It is a luxurious litigation by the applicant, while many poor petitioners do not get time for their litigations."

Chaudhary had argued before the High Court that the show cause notice had been issued under political pressure, so that he could not take part in forthcoming election.
