"The matter is being investigated and several persons, including Mishra, have been booked for several cognisable offences. Arrests are likely," a senior police official said.
According to police, the incident took place last evening when a fight broke out between the families of Mishra's relatives and their neighbours, who live in Vaishali locality in Dabri area.
The fight erupted over the installation of a mobile tower on the terrace of the property of one of the families, to which the other party objected and allegedly thrashed the labourers working on the fixture, police said.
"When the police reached the spot, a woman there, who was later joined by a few others, alleged that Mishra misbehaved with them.
