Ex-UP chief secy Deepak Singhal now Commissioner, NCR Gzb

Former Uttar Pradesh chief secretary Deepak Singhal, who was removed from the post last month by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, was today made Commissioner, NCR Ghaziabad, as the state government effected tranfers of seven IAS officers.
Singhal is considered close to state Samajwadi Party chief Shivpal Yadav and his removal had fuelled the ongoing turf war in the Uttar Pradesh's ruling family.
He was till now posted as chairman State Vigilance Commission and Administrative Tribunal.
Deepak Singhal has been appointed Commissioner NCR, Ghaziabad, an official spokesman said.
Besides, Special Secretary, medical health and family welfare, Brijesh Narain Singh has been made Additional Resident Commissioner of UP in New Delhi in place of Ashok Kumar Srivastava, who has been appointed additional CEO NOIDA, the spokesman said.
Special Secretary, entertainment tax, Vimal Kumar Sharma has been made additional CEO of Greater Noida, the spokesman added.
