Examination of witnesses in solar scam case to begin on Dec 8

: Examination of witnesses in an alleged windmill cheating case, in which the co-accused is Saritha Nair, the prime accused in the solar panel scam in Kerala, will begin in a local court here from December 8.
Saritha, along with other accused Biju Radhakrishnan and one R C Ravi today appeared before the Magistrate of judicial Magistrate Court IV, Karthikeyan, in connection with the case.
All three accused pleaded they were innocent and that the case was false, following which Karthikeyan posted the trial to Dec 8 for commencing examination of witnesses.
The prosecution case was that Saritha and the two others allegedly cheated two investors of Rs 31.7 lakh with the promise of starting wind mills, which however failed to take off, following which the duo filed a complaint.
