Excelerate, ridden by P Trevor, won the J Thomas Cup, the prime event of the races here today.
The winner, trained by Craig Marshall, is owned by Manjri Horse Breeders Farm Pvt Ltd.
Marshall saddled two winners while jockeys Trevor and C Umesh rode two winners each.
Three favourites obliged in a card of seven events.
