Exhibition at Davos pays tribute to Nelson Mandela

Remembering South African leader Nelson Mandela, an exhibition on the theme 'Expressions of Freedom' was organised on the sidelines of World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meet.
It was organised by 'INDIAFRICA: A Shared Future' -- a people to people programme. It was managed by IdeaWorks with support from the India's Ministry of External Affairs.
Mandela, South Africa's first elected black President and a global anti-apartheid icon, passed away in December.
The exhibition showcased prize winning entries from the INDIAFRICA Poster Design and Photography Contests as well as contributions from jury panel members.
IdeaWorks CEO Amit Shahi said a lot of opportunities have been thrown up for INDIAFRICA initiative at the just concluded WEF annual meet.
Mexico and Japan have expressed interest to replicate the INDIAFRICA model. Besides, discussions also took place with corporations with regard to supporting the initiative.
