The promotion is the second by Agarwal who had previously showcased 12 artists in a similar show.
The current showcase is being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel here and will go on for six months.
"We decided to put it up in a hotel because besides the people who especially come here for exhibition, there are others who come to dine. So featuring paintings at public places enhances the chances of selling," says Agarwal.
Rekha, who mainly paints with oil and acrylic on canvas, completed her bachelors and masters in painting after her first child. The artist has displayed her paintings of Buddha and Krishna because she says that it gives her peace.

"Coming from a Jat family, it was not easy for me to take up art professionally but I did my bachelors in painting after my first baby. My husband has been very supportive. Pragati saw my work at my husband's office and invited me to join the exhibition," says Rekha.
"To get more detailing in my work, I have read a lot on wildlife and watched many documentaries as well. I am fascinated by tigers but my photo does not include that only. I am just mesmerised by the word jungle; the chirping of birds, the greenery and fresh air," says Dutta.
Dutta says parents should take their children to a jungle during vacations. He recalled an incident on how tigers show respect to tigresses in the jungle.
