Gehlot made this appeal as he inaugurated a documentary photo exhibition 'The Paths We Walk' here which has been organised by The National Trust in collaboration with the Society for Child Development.
The exhibition is intended to tackle negative myths of disability and employment of persons with autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability and multiple disabilities.
While lauding creative art works of the persons with disabilities, Gehlot called upon the society to help them to showcase their hidden talents and no discrimination should be made to them.
He said the National Handicapped Finance Development Corporation (NHFDC) under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has many schemes for such people.
The minister also applauded the dedication and efforts of the parents of the disabled children in making them become responsible persons, as he wished all the participants success in their life ahead.
