Thakur, who met the Union minister in Delhi today along with sitting MLA from Dehra and others told the HRD minister that in April 2010, Central University was allotted to Himachal Pradesh with 70 per cent campus at Dehra and 30 per cent at Dharamsala in Kangra district but after change of government in the state in December 2012, the Congress government was trying to reverse the decision, a BJP release here said.
"This attitude of the state government has led to delay in the construction of permanent campus of Himachal Central University and students are forced to study at a temporary campus at Shahpur," the Hamirpur MP said.
