After Shazia Ilmi, another rebel AAP leader and former MLA Vinod Kumar Binny today joined BJP ahead of Delhi polls which is to be held in February 7.
"I was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and work done by his government in the last seven months that's why I am today joining BJP," Binny told reporters here.
BJP president Satish Upadhyay welcomed the former AAP leader for his induction into the party, saying that he was the first person who raised his voice against "undemocratic" process in the Aam Aadmi Party.
Binny joined the saffron party a day after Ilmi joined it.
Lashing out at former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Binny said, "Kejriwal is expert in playing with the emotions of people and he misled them on every issue, be it free water, slashing power tariff by 50 per cent."
He also said, "Kejriwal fooled people...He also used Anna ji."

On being asked if he would contest the upcoming Assembly polls, Binny said that he would follow party's instructions and proceed accordingly.
Sources, however, in the BJP said that party is considering to field him from Patparganj seat from where senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia is contesting elections.
Binny, former MLA from Laxmi Nagar, had quit the Aam Aadmi Party earlier this year.
According to BJP, former Delhi BSP president Chaudhary Brahm Singh, councillor Bir Singh, Ram Kailash Gupta and AAP activist Devki Nandan Nikesh joined the party.
