India's national security challenges and ways to deal with them against the backdrop of geo-strategic developments in the region will be deliberated upon by noted experts from varied fields at a roundtable here tomorrow.
The Roundtable on 'National Security: Key Challenges Ahead' will address how the concept of national security has undergone vast changes in recent years and is no more seen as dealing with just external aggression and internal strife.
It is being organised by The Indian Council of World Affairs in collaboration with The Tribune Group of Newspapers.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will deliver the keynote address while NN Vohra, Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, will deliver a special address and also chair one of the two working sessions.
Among the speakers are Satish Chandra, former Deputy National Security Adviser, former Foreign Secretary Kanwal Sibal and Subir Gokarn, Senior Fellow and Director, Research, at Brookings India.
The Tribune, one of the oldest newspapers of the country, recently set up the 'Tribune National Security Forum' and is co-hosting tomorrow's Roundtable.
