Acting on specific information, a joint team of the police and CRPF launched an operation at Balijan Kachari basti locality and recovered the explosives, Superintendent of Police Sanjukta Parashar said.
The explosives include three gelatin sticks, two electronic detonators, six batteries, 26 metres wire, and five kg of ball bearings along with 20 letter pad of NDFB(S) near a bamboo grove.
The explosives were found behind a house in Balijan Kachari basti and it is an area dominated by NDFB(S).
A 'platoon commander' of NDFB(S) was killed in an encounter with the security forces on November 17 in the area.
