"It is the internal matter of DMK, why they have suspended him or why they expelled him. We have no comment to make," senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu told reporters here.
When asked about Alagiri cosying up to BJP leaders, Naidu said the party cannot stop somebody who is volunteering to support its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
"As far as BJP is concerned we cannot say no to anybody who wants to support Modi or BJP... Can we say we do not want your vote and we do not want your support?" he said.
Cracking the whip, DMK today expelled a defiant Alagiri as his rancour against the party and its leadership continued unabated, threatening to derail its prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
