Director of Transport Arun Desai told this to reporters during a press conference here today.
"The enormous fleet of vehicles being put into service for the prestigious international sporting event, the Lusofonia Games, will include branded vehicles, disability- friendly services and comfortable shuttle services for spectators to and from the competition venues," Desai said.
A fleet of 400 cars/SUVs and 100 buses will be pressed into service during the Games for the athletes, technical officials, Association of the Portuguese Speaking Olympic Committees (ACOLOP) and Lusofonia Games Organising Committee (LUGOC) officials, media, volunteers and spectators.
Sporting the official logo and mascot, the air-conditioned vehicles will be made available for the transporting of players and officials to and fro from the competition venues. Detailed arrangements will also been made for the ticketed spectators, they said.

Two central transport hubs, one each in north Goa (ground opposite ETDC near All India Radio at Bambolim) and south Goa (open ground in front of Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Borda) have been identified.
Schedules of shuttle services and route maps will be made available on the Lusofonia Games official web portal -- www.Lusofoniagames2014.Gov-- in a few days prior to the commencement of the Games, the officials said.
