Faiz's bail plea dismissed

The bail plea of T Faiz, prime accused in the smuggling of 20 kg of gold bars from Dubai last month, was today rejected by Additional Principal sessions court at Ernakulam here.
Two women - Arifa and Asifa - wearing burqua, had carried the gold and were arrested along with another accused when the duo was about to leave the airport.
Based on their interrogation, Faiz was arrested from Delhi and brought here later.
The anticipatory bail plea of Faisal, brother of Faiz, was also rejected. Three customs officers are also accused in the case.
