Fake bomb found near bridge

An unknown group of people claiming allegiance to CPI(M-L) today made a bomb hoax by placing an empty container with two wires below a bridge at Kachua More in North 24-Parganas district.
"The container was empty and it was a hoax. The locals spotted it and a poster demanding that a culvert repair work should be completed within 15 days was pasted nearby," Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Bhaskar Mukherjee said.
