Fake cops relieve old woman of gold chain

Four men posing as policemen relieved an old woman of her gold chain weighing six sovereigns near here today.
The four men had advised the woman, who was going to a temple, against wearing the gold chain and said they would keep it safe.
The woman removed the chain and gave it the men who took it and fled on two motorcycles.
Police said the incident was captured on CCTV cameras and they were on the lookout for the culprits.
