A NIA team from Delhi arrested Badal Singh from Mohabbatpur border area with help of BSF following a tip-off, BSF sources said.
A mob collected and hurled bombs as the 42-year old was being taken away but the security personnel managed to whisk him away.
The security agencies got the tip off following interrogation a person, who was arrested on October 11 after the recovery of fake currency worth Rs 20 lakh from his possession.
