Rupees three lakh was seized from two persons at Rathbari area here today, police said.
Acting on the tip-off, the police carried out a sudden raid in the area and seized the fake currency from the possession of two men who were waiting for a taxi.
The two persons, residents of Baishnabnagar in the Indo-Bangla border area, were arrested.
